Tip of the day - "If it feels easy it may be a good way to get started on the road to health but you do need to move toward difficult (I'm not talking about being in pain but we should all make peace with expanding our tolerance for thoughtful discomfort).

Full disclosure - I loathe ellipticals, I have never liked ellipticals.  Why?  The motion doesn't mimic any ambulation humans participate in, the calorie burn is exaggerated and the reason they are so popular...wait for it, they are EASY!

Train smart, work hard, lift heavy stuff beautifully and do intervals instead of long, slow cardio.
